SVdP Is Here for Our Neighbors—When They Need Us Most
At SVdP, we work to reduce poverty and advance systemic change, knowing that our community’s strength depends on how we support its most vulnerable members.
SVdP: Preventing Homelessness and Strengthening Our Community
At St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) Appleton, our mission is to help neighbors in need build stability, find hope, and move toward brighter futures. We work every day to prevent homelessness by offering essential resources—store vouchers, gas cards, utility or rent assistance—that help individuals and families stay safely housed.
We’re committed to walking alongside our neighbors and creating a stronger, more resilient community. But we can’t do it alone. Your support truly makes a difference.
Because of generous donors like you, SVdP can ensure more families have what they need to meet their basic needs and remain in their homes.
Maria understands this impact firsthand as a single mom who has experienced the stress of living paycheck to paycheck. “That’s why I’ve been giving to St. Vincent de Paul every month for over five years. What you do is so important in the community!” Maria mentions her monthly gift with humility, but we celebrate the vital role she plays. Supporters like her make it possible for our home visit volunteers to continue preventing homelessness throughout our community—one family at a time.
