Let's Support Those in Need in Waupaca!
A community is only as strong as its most vulnerable populations. That's why SVdP Waupaca focuses on alleviating the pain of poverty and promoting systemic change.

We at SVdP provide neighbors in need with rent or utility assistance as well as vouchers for clothing, household goods, or furniture redeemed at a SVdP store in Appleton. But only in the context of our home visit program.
SVdP's Waupaca Conference, based out of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, helps people of all faiths. We have distributed $15,000-$20,000 per year each year for the past 10 years, most of that coming from Appleton District funds. During the past year we helped over 125 people, averaging a home visit every week.
This marks our first annual fund drive. We have set our goal at $10,000, which is about half of the amount we distribute to our own neighbors each year.
Think about what it costs to raise a young family today, in a community that for much of the year has no homeless shelter and only a couple other organizations that can help a person in need. SVdP Waupaca's need is great, and we’re glad our charitable community is up to the task.
Your donation will help us not only help a family through a tough time, but also will show them a friendly face at the door to give support and guidance.
